The Acura RDX and MDX SUVs
Acura has two types of SUVs, the RDX and MDX. The RDX has ample seating for up to five people and features about 80 feet of cargo space with the ability to fold down the second row of seats and move the front seats forward for even more storage. The third generation RDX boasts a 3.5-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission. There is a front-wheel drive option or all-wheel drive with Acura's Intelligent Control System. There is also an available full suite of active safety features as well.
In contrast to the RDX, the MDX has three rows of seating. It was also Acura's first crossover to hit the market. The latest generation of MDX SUVs also features a 3.5-liter V6 engine, but it boasts a nine-speed automatic transmission. It is available in front-wheel drive or a Sport Hybrid all-wheel drive system. Though it is more expensive than the RDX, the MDX comes better equipped with more standard safety and technology features.Â
